FROM THE BAND

In the theatre, an “angel” is someone who funds the show.  Our Angel, Bert Witt, in 1983 propelled us into a bigtime recording studio years before we thought we’d get there. We’d been writing and singing our very idiosyncratic original songs to enthusiastic Puget Sound audiences for a couple of years; then we had to learn to take them apart and put them back together on multi-track tape.  We will always be grateful to Bert, our other investors, Julian Smedley, and Terry Date for getting us onto vinyl for the first time.
